I have raved many a times on this blog about how much we love LeapFrog products, especially their devices . Did you know that LeapFrog doesn’t just make educational devices, but they also have adorable toys, especially for toddlers! I love that LeapFrog is all about learning and helping or children learn while playing! My kids are loving their new educational LeapFrog toys & games!
A few weeks ago when we received these toys we deiced to do a little scavenger hunt for the kids to find them around the house. They were SO excited about their new LeapFrog Toys! I don’t think my kid realized LeapFrog had toys, but they recognized scout and other characters on the box and were so excited!! They have been the perfect new toy for the school year. I pull them out when I need to work with the oder kids and my younger two play, and sometimes fight 🙂 over them!
LeapFrog Number Lovin’ Oven
My little guy and I had a great time playing with it last week. He was so sweet wanting to share with me and make sure I had enough food! We also loved dancing to the funny “put an egg on it” song!It teaches counting, parts of a whole and sharing! It’s preschool Prep for little chefs!
LeapFrog Scout’s Build and Discover Tool Set
My boys are all about tools right now so this is another great one of the new LeapFrog Toys. When I first saw it in the box I thought it was just a little tool box. It is way more than that!
Word Whammer -Action-packed kindergarten prep game
This is the last of the new LeapFrog toys that we got. My kids have all seen many a LeapFrog Shows and we all know about the Word Whammer! Well the Word Whammer comes to life through this fun little game! This game has been perfect for my little 4 year old who is just learning to build words. Yesterday he walked over to me and said “Ta, T says Ta” He was so excited that he understood that! The Word Whammer teaches early phonic and spelling skills to help your kids build a good foundation for reading and writing. The other great thing about this toy is it has a unique automatic leveling system, the toy dynamically adjusts the curriculum to your child’s level so that your child can be challenged to learn and at the same time achieve success along the way. I think it is so amazing they can do stuff like that!
We have already told you how much we love our new LeapTV. It’s a fun educational gaming system that is perfect for kids ages 2-9 (but my 12 year old plays it and still likes it). I talked about some of the games my kids loved when I wrote about the LeapTV here. They just came out with 5 more really fun games! All of these new games are 2 player games which has been so nice for my 4 and 7 year old to learn to play together! The games are very educational and very fun. They use all sorts of features, like the camera that puts the child onscreen, which is one of their favorite features!
