- I love to have fun and make memories with my husband and children.
- I love to travel. Even if the trip is in my own backyard I love the memories made when we get out of the house and go on an adventure!
- I love to create printable and handouts for myself and others to use.
- I love to create yummy meals for my family, and try to stay mostly on the healthy side, although I will share yummy dessert recipes from time to time because what is life without a little dessert?
- I love to homeschool my kids.
- I love to go to church and learn more about The Gospel of Jesus Christ and share it with others.
- I love those days when I find time to craft and sew or do some sort of DIY project with my husband
- I love to be outside in the garden digging in the dirt and eating the fruits of our labors!
- I love all things finances. I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to family finances and I love to learn more about staying out of debt and great ways to save money.
- I love taking pictures and digital scrapbooking.
- I love new products and reviewing them for companies and then sharing what I think about the product with my friends.
- I love reading a good book.
- I love to make cakes and have simple and fun parities for my kids. (simple is the key word there, I don’t like going overboard and stressing myself out for a party)
- I love to exercise, run barefoot and occasionally, when I find the time, participate in triathlons.
- I love my life. It does have it’s ups and down, days when I feel frustrated, stressed, exhausted or alone, but the days that I have with my family where we get to enjoy these things together far outweigh the down days.
I am a born and raised Utahn, and am proud of it!! I have four siblings that I love to death. A wonderful Mother and Step Father, and a great Father and Step Mother! I was raised as a homeschooled child and really enjoyed it. {except the few days I begged to go to public school because all my friends did} Which now I thank my mom she didn’t send me. {Nothing against public school, I just loved being home schooled} Every member of my family was homeschooled until the 9th grade and then we got to go to high school! {I think my mom had enough of us by that age!}
I am a member of the LDS Church and one day a cocky teenage boy moved into my ward when I was sixteen. After he went on a mission and humbled himself, he came back and swept me off my feet. We knew we were supposed to be together from the moment he walked me to my door after our second date, kissed me for the first time, and I said “I love you” and then we both looked totally shocked and then I said “I actually don’t know why I said that” and we both laughed. He asked me to marry him in December of 01′ and we were married in the Timpanogos Temple in March of 02′. We have been married for 13 years.
We have 5 beautiful children between the ages of 1-11! A Girl we will call “LaLa“ because she is always in la la land! In her own little world of fairy tales, living on a ranch and owning horses, or sitting in her room crafting the day away! A Boy I will refer to as “Cowboy” (because that is what he wants to be when he grows up), another Boy we will refer to as “Jack Jack” (you know from Incredibles) Yea, he is a lot like him. One minute all sweet and the next he turns into fire, another boy we call Little Mister who is such a funny kid and is sure loving trying to figure out his independence, and another boy we call The Baby even though he is almost 2!. We haven’t come up with a better nick name for him for this blog yet!! I love my kids and husband so much. They are my life and my inspiration.
I love hot baths, books on tape, watching my husband do projects for me :), cold drinking water, having a planner, the gospel of Jesus Christ, notebooks to write random notes in, blogging, having my grandma as one of my best friends, uplifting friends, playing in the rain, hiking, swimming, running {or trying to}, old movies, Little House on the Prairie, playing games, staying up late, keeping my counters clean, talking with old friends, anything with caramel and chocolate, having a clean house, homeschooling my kids, cinnamon bears {even better if they are covered in chocolate}, family, getting mail {packages are better}, fried ice cream, warm blankets, traveling, being barefoot, snuggly babies, kid kisses, nights out with my husband, pedicures, flip flops, fruit shakes, vacuuming, peanut butter, digital scrapbooking, crafting {if it’s not to technical}, the Scriptures, and cleaning the bathroom.
I don’t like olives, dishes, cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms (I mean seriously those things are gross), sweet pickles, socks, exercise videos, shopping for new clothes, and cats!
That’s me in a nutshell! And as you can see I love a lot of things, so that is what I blog about! The Things I Love Most!
