Simple & Easy BBQ Chicken Marinade

September 2, 2015 by The Things I Love Most

At the end of last month I had an end of summer back to school BBQ with some friends.  It was the perfect night and we had a great time!  I told you in the post I would share our secret (ok it’s not really secret, but that sounds cool to say!) BBQ Chicken Marinade recipe! My husband is so good at putting different flavors together so I had him be in charge of the chicken for the night!  He did an amazing job and everyone loved their tender moist chicken!

BBQ Chicken Marinade

I am not very good at remember to marinate my chicken mostly because I don’t have a good BBQ Chicken Marinade recipe.  Well now I have one, and I am excited to start creating more.  When you marinate chicken it makes it taste so much better!  The recipe for our delicious BBQ Chicken Marinade is so simple.  It’s just a can of Cherry Dr. Pepper, which works as a tenderizer and also gives it great flavor, 1/2 bottle of BBQ Sauce, we used Sweet Baby Rays original and Garlic!  Simple and Easy BBQ Chicken Marinade

It was that easy. We put frozen chicken in a  cake pan, poured the marinade on it the night before, put tinfoil over it and let it sit in the fridge over night. We pulled it out the next morning to flip the chicken and then let it soak until dinner!  It tasted so good we made it for dinner 3 days later!
