As you know from my recent cleaning post, I love having a clean house! I’m kind of funny when it comes to vacuums. I love having clean carpets. Like we vacuum our whole house 4 -5 times a week. It’s one of the kids jobs each week so it’s really not a big deal to any of us. It’s teaching them responsibility and we’re all happy! I love looking at vacuums at the store, researching which one is best and then not buying them because we already have an ok one that works. I’m kind of of the opinion that if it works ok we use it until it’s broken. Which is a good thing, but when I know our vacuum isn’t very great I always want a new one. I get it from my grandma, you could call her an unpaid vacuum product tester. She’s tried them all 🙂
We have central vacuum, which, when you tell people they think it is so cool, but the actual vacuum has terrible suction and it is really hard to plug into our walls. I’ve had those super expensive vacuum salesman come to my house and show me how dirty my carpets are and I am always slightly tempted, I said slightly, to buy that billion dollar vacuum. But I never do because I can’t stomach paying that kind of money for anything. We haven’t ever really owned a great vacuum that I just loved until this one! Most of them have been given to us, or we had central vac. My kids even love vacuums as much as I do. They said it felt like Christmas the day we got this one and were putting it together!
Which by the way was super easy to put together. I was at my grandma’s last month putting together a new vacuum she bought….it took over an hour to figure out where everything went, then she didn’t like it and sent it back. This one took like 5 minutes to snap together, my son did most of it!

You know that brushroll that collects hair or string and wraps it around the brushroll?Well you no longer have to get scissors or a knife to cut all that out. It does it for you with the push of a button and then sucks it all into the canister. The other day I called my mom and told her I got this vacuum. She said she doesn’t have that problem. I reminded her that she only had short haired people living in her house. Then I reminded her how many time as a child we would be vacuuming and the vacuum wouldn’t work and we had to flip it upside down and cut out all the hair and strings and hope it would work after.
