I absolutely love fall time. Pulling out the jeans, sweater and boots and the smell of soup on the stove or fresh pie in the oven. One of my favorite parts of fall is Thanksgiving. Spending time with family, and eating good food. What could be better!?! I am the pie lady in the family. I could do without most of what we serve for Thanksgiving and just eat pie!! It is by far my favorite. Every year I make at least 4 pies. We have a ton of family so we have a beautiful spread of about 20 pies for dessert. It is the best. This year I am going to make one of my favorite Dutch Apple Pie. It is amazing! With fresh whip cream on top you can’t go wrong with this one!!
In both these recipe I have substituded my butter for Promise Spread made by Unilever. A heart healthy choice and it taste great! Being Low in saturated fat, trans fats and cholesterol

They are divine! My husband had two bowls full. I julienned my carrots, but you really can cut them however you want to. My kids just eat it better this way. My grandma usually just slices the carrots.
I hope you all have a wonderful Fall and especially Thanksgiving surround by family and friends and eating delicious food!
