Memorial Day – Honoring Those Who Have Died Serving Our Country

May 27, 2013 by The Things I Love Most

I am so grateful for our military and their families for all they do for our country.  Especially those men and women who have died serving our country.  May we remember those who have sacrificed their life while serving in the Armed Forces.  It hits a little more close to home now that I have a brother that is going to be in the Air Force.

Memorial Day has also become a day in which we visit the graves of our loved ones.  I wish I could be closer to where my family is to spend this day with them visiting the graves of our loved ones.  I am so thankful for all those that have gone before me, and their legacy.  I hope I can live up to all they have taught me through the life they led!

I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day.  What are your plans? We are going on a hike and having corn on the cob!
