Make Adorable Bows with a Bowdabra + Giveaway

This last month when I went to the BYBC in Salt Lake City I talked to the lady that created the Bowdabra!  This Bowdabra Bow Maker and Craft Tool is so cool.  In the two minutes I chatted with her she made 2 bows.  Yeah, I can’t do a cute bow in 10 minutes.  My sister has tried to teach me, but it’s just not my thing!  I was excited when she offered me a Bowdabra to review on the blog!  

There are two different Bowdabra’s a Mini and a larger one.  The larger is obviously for larger bows and the mini is perfect for hair bows…which I don’t ever make any more because my daughter is too old for bows…..{insert picture of me sobbing :)}  Anyway, these Bowdabra’s are awesome.  My daughter and I have had fun this week making bows!  

We made some big and small ones! My daughter got the hang of it pretty quick and has had fun making some bows. Now we just need to go get more ribbon!

I’ve also had fun this week creating some bows for my handouts for a table I decorated for a Relief Society dinner! (printable quote coming soon!) It made it SO easy and quick to just whip them up with the Bowdabra.  The Bowdabra also come with instructions on how to use it, and also a video

Here are some simple steps to make a cute bow that Colby put together!!

How to make a bow using the Bowdabra

Step one: Fold 24 inches of bow wire in half and place it into the Bowdabra.

     
Step 2: Make a 6 inch loop and twist it at the end.

Step 3: Place this into the Bowdabra!

Step 4: Fold back and forth about 4 times so you have 8 in total bows.

Step 5: Tie and Fluff
