Dutch Apple Crumb Torte (Or Pie)

November 22, 2014 by The Things I Love Most

If you know me you know how much I LOVE pie!  Sometimes I don’t stop talking about tit!  It is my absolute favorite dessert!  With Thanksgiving coming up I thought I would share with you this yummy Dutch Apple Crumb Torte that I created this last week with my daughter. You can also make this as pie pan, but I thought it would be fun to make it in my new torte pan.
Dutch Apple Crumb Torte (Or Pie)
{Printable Version Here}

1 Pie Crust {I like this recipe here}

Or you can just buy the stuff that is already rolled out from the store!

  • 6 C. Apples diced or sliced
  • 1 T Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 C. Sugar
  • 1 T Cinnamon

Crumb Mixture

  • 1 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 1/3 – 1/2 cup NEW I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Spread

Directions: Spread out the crust in the pan.  Pour cinnamon, sugar, lemon juice mixture on apples and stir until they are all coated.  Pour on top of crust.

Put together your crumb mixture and spread evenly over your apples.

 Place in the oven on 400º for 30-40 minutes! Top with Whipping Cream and Enjoy!

You are probably wondering why I used I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!? But this new stuff is awesome and it makes it so much easier to mix up the crumb mixture.  Plus they have made it a lot more healthy.  The new I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® is made from real, simple ingredients – 100% taste, 0% artificial preservatives – and is still unbelievably delicious!
