A Great New Way to Register for Gifts

August 14, 2014 by The Things I Love Most

I just heard about this awesome new website for registering.  You know, like you register for gifts when you are getting married or going to have a baby.  You go to the store that you think will hopefully have the things you want, you get that silly gun thing and go and shoot all the thing you think you need.  It’s kind of a pain.  When I got married I registered at a store, but knew that half the people wouldn’t go buy from that store   I wanted to register at two other store, but thought it would look silly on the invite to have 3 stores that I registered at.  So if you are getting married, having a baby, or just have a wish list, you have to look into MYREGISTRY.com You can register for ANYTHING you want through this site.  It is awesome, and is going to save those busy brides or exhausted pregnant mama’s so much time!

MyRegistry.com is the leading universal gift registry, providing hundreds of thousands of users with the ability to create one centralized online registry for any gift giving occasion In addition to giving customers the ability to register for items from any online or brick and mortar retailer.

It’s super easy to register, and is totally free!  You go to the website, login though email, Facebook or Google +, and install their widget on your browser bar!  It’s reminds me of Pinterest with the button on your browser bookmark bar.  If you are on a website and you see something you love instead of “pinning it” you click your “Add To My Registry” button on your browser and it goes straight into your registry.  How awesome is that?

Check out these incredible features that make MyRegistry.com the number one bridal registry destination:

  • Add gifts from any store on the Internet

After placing the “Add to MyRegistry” button on your  browser’s bookmarks bar, you can add gifts from any website—even international sites! Any item from any website will appear on one universal wish list.

  • Sync the store registries you already have
  • Register for Cash gifts

Many couples already have at least one (if not two) of everything they need to set up house; more towels, sheets, pots and pans would be pointless. MyRegistry.com gives members the option to register for cash to go towards your honeymoon, house renovations or even to help pay for the wedding. Name and customize your special cash fund on MyRegistry.com and it will be listed on your registry alongside the rest of your gifts.

  • Discover great gifts & ideas on their inspiration boards
  • Find items for your registry, & favors for your event
  • Easily announce & share your registry
  • Add gifts on-the-go from your smartphone
  • Add gifts from stores that don’t have a website

Couples can choose one-of-a-kind items from places like galleries or antique stores by adding a photo, description and notes on where to purchase the item. There are no boundaries as to what items you can place on your registry. Your friends will love seeing what unique things you’ve chosen!

  • Call or chat with them online, for personalized service
  • They’re even great for Non Profits!

You can be philanthropic with MyRegistry.com! Couples can give back by listing their favorite charities on their registry and asking for donations towards a cause. Your friends and family can help you further the mission of organizations and nonprofits that are near and dear to your heart.

This video explains it very well if you still don’t get it!
