My kiddos were thrilled when we got this package in the mail the other day! We haven’t been to see the movie Brave yet, but after playing these games on the LeapPad and Tag Reader they can’t wait to see it. I have 3 kids ages 8, 6 and 4 and ALL of them loved playing these games! And it is a fun way to incorporate learning during the summer months!
We started out using the Tag reader and Brave book, and Jack Jack loved it. In fact I had to set a time limit on how long they could play. Jack Jack loves books, but the thing I like about the Brave book (and I am sure all the Tag books) is that you can look at the book over and over and over and it doesn’t get boring. There are games to play on each page.
Even my oldest goes and grabs it and plays with it. I love that it reads it to you using the accent of the characters in the book. It also helps you sound out the words and has educational games. It reinforced the meaning of words and also incorporated decoding skills!
The next day I pulled out the LeapPad with the Brave Explorer Cartridge and they had a blast playing it. We aren’t big on hand held DSI’s and stuff but I really liked this because even while my kids were playing the LeapPad Brave game they were learning. You go around and explore the world of plants and animals and more. It taught Life Science, Earth Science, Logic and Reasoning skills! It is for K-3rd graders which is perfect for the ages of my kids. We are headed out on a vacation tomorrow and it’s going to be nice to have these games and books to play

My niece loves this movie – watches all the time so just by seeing how involved they are in your pics I know this would hold her interest
