The Easiest Lasagna Recipe Ever!

June 15, 2012 by The Things I Love Most

Growing up I loved it when my mom would make lasagna, mostly because I always go to help!  My kids now love Grandma’s Lasagna and we make it on a regular basis!
Here is the recipe.

The Easiest Lasagna Recipe Ever

{Printable version}

  • Brown 1 lb. Ground Beef
    • Mix in a 28 oz. (sometimes I add a little more) Spaghetti sauce
    • 2-3 Cups of Cottage Cheese  (you can also use Ricotta)
    • 3 big handfuls of shredded cheese
    Layer meat sauce on bottom of a 9X13 pan, then dry (Yes DRY) lasagna noodles, then sauce, then noodles, then sauce….(layer until sauce is gone!)  You don’t even have to buy no cook noodles.  Just regular noodles is great!
    • Cover with foil and bake on 350 for 50-60 mins  (If you are worried about it being done put a knife in it and make sure you can slice through the noodles
    • Take foil off and add shredded cheese and put back in for 5-8 mins!
    And enjoy!  I love this recipe because you don’t have to cook your noodles.  (I don’t think I have ever boiled Lasagna noodles in my whole life!, except if I use them in my Chicken Noodle Soup)

      Could this be done in the crock pot? Same techniques just done on low for a few hours? We love lasagna, but I hate how it heats up the kitchen during the summer!

      Yes it could totally be done in a crock pot…or a Sun Oven 🙂
