I am so excited to tell you all about these great study guides to go along with your gospel study.  I love having a good study guide to study from when I read my scriptures to bring new in-site and understanding to the scriptures.

Let me tell you a little bit about the man behind the books and what these books are all about…

 

Dr. Randal S. Chase, a veteran Institute and Gospel doctrine teacher, is the author of a new set of LDS Gospel study guides called “Making Precious Things Plain.”  In this unique 12-book series, he shares years of insights with three books dedicated to each of the standard works (Old Testament, New Testament, Doctrine and Covenants, and the Book of Mormon).  Each Study guide is meant to complement the study of the scriptures and goes into great depth with cultural information, explanations, symbolism, and quotations by many prophets and Church authorities.  The books include pictures, time lines, charts and graphs that also help to increase understanding.  They are a wonderful resource for private study, teaching or public speaking.
