Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss..

March 2, 2011 by The Things I Love Most

image

Yup that’s right!  It’s Dr. Seuss’s Birthday today!  I love these books!!  When I think of Dr. Seuss I think of two book.  Green Eggs and Ham, and The Places You’ll Go!  I love those two books, both very fun and amazingly creative!! Theodor Seuss Geisel is that man behind the books you can read a little about him here!  What a creative person he was! Geisel’s birthday, March 2, has also been adopted as the annual date for National Read Across America Day, an initiative on reading created by the National Education Association. image
Here is what we plan on doing today during our school day…

  • Read all our our Dr. Seuss Books
  • Play some fun games on this web site!
  • Make Dr. Seuss Hats!image
  • And for dinner we are going to have Green eggs and Ham.
Green Eggs
Blend Spinach in blender with eggs and a little bit of milk, then make them like you would regular scrambled eggs!  They are delicious and your kids won’t even know the spinach is in there.  Especially if you add Mozzarella!!
There are also a lot of great Craft Ideas Here that look like fun!
Do you have any plans to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday?

Also, I know this is totally random, but if you don’t have a Bosch…
Then you need to get one!  JK, but I do have to tell you where you can win one!!  image Go here for a chance to win a Bosch Mixer!  I LOVE mine and am excited to try more things in it.  Since I have had it I have only made bread, but after going to Every Day Food Storage Blog today and seeing what else they have done in it I am excited to try more.  Especially the cookies!!  All you have to do is sign up for a free class on how to love your food storage in under 10 days!! Sound cool huh?  I am excited to learn more.

Also get excited for Friday when I am going to tell you about an awesome food storage class I just got done taking!!
Have a great day!!
