My Monthly Menu Plan + 46 Free Recipes

July 2, 2014 by The Things I Love Most

This project has been a HUGE undertaking for the last month, but I did it and let me tell you It is working!  I love having a monthly menu plan and feeling more organized with my meals and menu planning!   I took all the recipes that I know my family loves and put them into a 2 month menu plan.  I put 5 meals a week, one left over meal and one new meal on the calendar for each week and then put it all in a book.  I have 46 recipes in all!

The first page in the book is this calendar.  As you can see I have made it so that there are 5 meals to cook for the week, then one day is super easy leftovers or breakfast for dinner, and the other is a fun new meal that we haven’t tried or that isn’t in the book.  If we end up loving the “new” recipe then we will add it in in a couple months/  Put for right now I will just be going back to month one after I am done with month two.  That is 48 different meals.  My kids won’t mind that! I did not put days above each meal because I needed the flexibility.  Some days turn out busier than scheduled and lasagna just isn’t going to happen so we can choose to make something easier.  I have a wet erase marker and mark what week we are on and can mark what meals were made if I need to.
30 Days of Meals – Month 1 & 2 Calendar
Following the calendar is every recipe on the calendar divided up in weeks.  So I have Week 1 followed by 5 recipes, then Week 2 followed by 5 recipes and so forth.

It will make it so nice if I need my kids to help out.  Most of the recipes I have been making forever so I don’t really need the recipe any more, but I love having them there so the kids can learn to cook them. Or if I am not home my husband can make it easy!

I am excited to share with you 46 of my families favorite meals!  Most of them don’t need a big side dish, but if they do just add a salad, corn, green beans or whatever you want!
You can print off Month One Recipes Here, and Month Two recipes Here!
Happy Eating!
