We are HUGE Kneaders fans. If you haven’t been to Kneaders you are missing out! It is a Cafe/Bakery that is fantastic! Amazing salads, soups and sandwiches, along with homemade breads and pastries that are to die for! Especially their Fruit and Key Lime Tarts. We used to have a tradition to go to breakfast at Kneaders for all of our birthdays. We would always order their All-You-Can-Eat French Toast with caramel syrup! Taking all seven of us to get breakfast early in the morning, and driving 25 miles into town got to be a little over the top, but we sure loved it.
So you probably came here hoping that I would share their Cinnamon Bread Recipe, but I’m not. Sorry! Maybe one day! When it comes to birthdays, I just don’t have the time to whip up Cinnamon bread, make and decorate a birthday cake, and plan and carry out a birthday party! So I am here to tell you my trick to having the same breakfast you would have at Kneaders in your own kitchen for only $5.00! {That’s about how much one All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast costs)
A few weeks ago we were in Kneaders on a Saturday night and someone in line mentioned that everything in the bakery area was 1/2 price after 8:00 every Saturday. SCORE!! $0.75 Desserts and $1.50 loaf of homemade wheat bread made our date night that much better!! Our sons birthday was this last week, so last Saturday on our date night we stopped by Kneaders and picked up their Cinnamon Bread for 1/2 Price which made it $2.00 a loaf! We bought two loaves, came home and saved it for a couple of days. It freezes fine, but we just put it in our pantry. The morning of my sons birthday we made our own version of Kneaders All-You-Can-Eat French Toast, and besides having to clean up our own mess, it was totally worth it!
