Janitors 5: Heroes of the Dustbin {Book Review}

September 5, 2015 by The Things I Love Most

We have been reading Janitors in our family since Janitors first came out.  We have read the first and probably the second book a bajillion times, at least my daughter has.  If she doesn’t have a good book to read at the moment, it’s Janitors she pulls out and reads in a day! We also love listening to the books on CD over and over!   Janitors 5: Heroes of the Dustbin

My kids were very excited when Shawdow Mounatin sent us the last and final Janitors book, Janitors 5: Heroes of the Dustbin. Although they were sad it was the last one in the series!  Book 5 was their favorite one of all! They liked it because it was intense, but also funny!  They have learned to really love the character and understand the role the play in the book as they have read through the 5 books!  It features the key “reveal” that ties together all the elements of the previous four books. They were introduced to the real villains of the story, a group of hocus-pocus witches who were trying to turn children’s brains to mush.

Janitors 5 Synopsis:

Although their enemies are powerful, their allies few, Spencer and his team of Rebels are not giving up! But what chance do a handful of kids and one rescued janitor have against the combined evil of the Founding Witches and the Sweepers? Can the Rebels close the source of all Glop and stop the Toxites once and for all—or is the world doomed to fall under the control of the sinister Bureau of Educational Maintenance? This explosive series finale is a gripping ride through conflicted loyalties and daring escapes, unexpected alliances and betrayals, and an ending you’ll never forget!

Have you read the Janitors books?  Janitors 5 is awesome, but start at #1 and read through the whole series!
