Do you ever drive away from your home and you’re in a hurry to get somewhere and you think to yourself, Did I turn off the lights?, Did I shut the garage door? but you don’t have enough time to turn around and go check, nor do you really want to. I remember once when we left to of town and we forgot to turn our heater down so that it wasn’t heating or house for the whole week we weren’t there. We didn’t turn around since we were two hours out of town. I also forgot to turn my oven off for a whole weekend once. That was scary when we got back. We live out in the country and sometimes when we get home our house is very dark if we haven’t left the outside lights on. This last weekend our garage door broke so tonight when we pulled up after grocery shopping we had to walk to the door in the dark and turn on our outside lights. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you check your home from your phone while you are on the go no matter how far away you are from your home?matter where you live? You know, you’ve heard of those smart houses! Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could all have smart houses! Well, hopefully we soon can because #thebuzziscoming!!
I am so excited to be working with Mom it Forward and the Blogger Network to promote this amazing Kickstarter Campaign for HIVE: a smart home security and entertainment system for everyone.
So what is all this #BuzzAboutHive? Hive is the newest in smart home technology. It allows you to easily connect and control your lights, locks, electronics, appliances, and any other smart devices from a single place. Hive protects you in your home and away from your home. You can monitor it all from your mobile app. The hub is equipped with battery backup power and optional 3G cellular backup to keep you up and running if your power fails or if the internet goes out.. With their 24/7 monitoring, backup power supply, and backup cell service ensures customers get the best protection possible. It’s compatible with most of today’s connectivity standards including Z-wave, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and others. The Hive Hub and the Hive companion products are delivered to your door already synced so it makes for easy for installation.
The other unique things about Hive is the Hive Speakers. Hive sound is a wireless home audio system that will fill your home with music. Play your favorite station on your phone and Hive will play it through your speakers. It also allows multi-room pairing to play different songs from every speaker.
I love the elegant design that will look great in any home and doesn’t take up a lot of space!
Another great thing about HIVE is they are very passionate about giving power and voice to their customers. They want to hear what their customers have to say. Hive is breaking down the walls that separate companies and customers to partner with the community in a whole new way. Hive is a community run company. They prove their commitment to community through profit sharing with customers, no contracts, no monthly minimum purchases and by asking the community to help them design and build all their products!
And if all that isn’t cool enough, the coolest things about HIVE and their Kickstarter campaign is their rewards program. Kickstarter is the largest crowd funding platform in the world, but they are introducing a whole new twist called crowd rewarding! Check it out HERE and they will explain all about how you can help them and make money at the same time!

I love to support local companies, and this company actually started here in Utah! Yeah locals!! What do you think about this company? How do you like the idea of “being home when you’re not home” through this HIVE System?
