Have I told you how bad my allergies are when the seasons change? Probably not, because I really try hard not to get to grumpy on my blog, but I really have a negative attitude about seasonal allergies. Like really! 🙂 I feel horrible, I can’t really play the sick card and lay in bed all day, but I don’t want to go anywhere because I feel horrible, and my face feels really ugly…I guess they call it Allergy Face. My husband hates me to say that about my cute face, but I am not kidding you, when I have allergies my eyes water, my nose is red and my face is puffy all over. It’s no fun, and makeup doesn’t seem to fix it. My husband suffers from this also, he has horrible seasonal allergies to the point that he has asthma attacks, but why is it that men don’t get Allergy Face as bad as women. Maybe it’s to humble us, but it’s not fair!
Look at this infographic. If you suffer from Allergy Face you aren’t the only one. 96% of women feel just like me and you…
I have totally been one of those women that have disguised myself with sunglasses when I am out…but as for the red nose. There is nothing out there to cover that up!
So you are probably wondering why I am blogging and complaining to you about allergies….well because I can 🙂 No really I thought I would share with you about what my husband and I take when we are at our wits end with allergies. So taking Zyrtec can help you feel better, but guess what Zyrtec has provided some great Allergy Face beauty tips that make you look better! Genius. I can’t wait to try these tips. Ok I can wait, because that would mean I want to have allergies again so that I can try them, and I really don’t, but I am grateful they are out there for when I do have Allergy Face again.
I have noticed for me that if I put foundation on my nose it starts to look really blotchy soon after because the redness breaks through, but if I use a mineral powder foundation it stays on better.
