I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Pie is the best dessert in the world! Seriously folks, if you don’t like it, that is weird! 🙂 There is nothing better than a delicious crust with fruit, or yummy creamy mixture topped with streusel or cream or both! I always say I hope there is pie in Heaven! One can hope, right?. Now I do love making my own pies, but I don’t have a lot of time in my life. Marie Callender’s is for sure my go to pie when it comes to store bought pie! They always have such a great variety of deliciousness you can’t go wrong! From Fruit Pie to Cream Pies to Pumpkin Pie, Marie Callender’s has it all! We wanted to have a little pie party last week as a family because we knew we were going to be out of town for Thanksgiving and that we wouldn’t have a lot of left over pie. I decided to do something a little different with that pie and make it into an ice cream sundae. Have you ever been to Cold Stone Ice Cream where they mix something into your ice cream right in front of you. I decided it would be delicious to try it with Pie. I had my husband pick up Vanilla Ice Cream, Caramel sauce, Reddi Wip® and one of Marie Callender’s Dessert Pies® at Walmart on his way home from work!! He picked the Pumpkin Pecan Streusel Pie, but you could do this with any of their pies!
Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream Sundae
Here is how I made it. Stick a Cookie Sheet in the freezer for an hour before you are going to make this. Place cold cookie sheet on counter, scooped out 1 cup of Ice Cream and place it on the cookie sheet. Make a hole in the center and scoop in a 1/4 cup of cold pie into the ice cream. Mix it up, place in bowl! Top with Caramel sauce and Reddi Wip®. Enjoy! It is super easy and delicious!!
See how easy that is!!
My kids all made their own because it is that easy! It’s like a two minute process if you have the pie already cooked. Here is a step by step in pictures…
Share The Joy of Pie with a #PorchPie
Since we have been talking a lot of about service, with my 25 Days of Christmas Spirit, Service and Fun, I thought it would be fun to Share the Joy of Pie with others! I think everyone needs pie every so often, so I thought it would be fun to start a new thing weekly or monthly and pick someone I know that is struggling, or just a random person and leave them a pie to help Share the Joy of Pie. I will use the Hashtag #PorchPie and post them on Instagram!! I am so excited about this.
I made a simple printable so that you can do that same thing. If you do, take a quick photo before you knock on the door, and use the Hashtag #PorchPie! Who wouldn’t love a “Porch Pie”? Especially this Pumpkin Pie! Bake it before or just take it in the box so they can decide when to eat it.All I did was get a cute ribbon, print of a few of these printables, cut them out on card stock. Get a cute little clothespin, buy a pie, tape the tags and bow onto the pie, add a can of Reddi Wip®, snap a picture, ring the doorbell and run! Leave some tags for your friend so they can share the joy of pie with others!!

I love the #PorchPie idea! I wish I was your neighbor. I also love the idea of pie mixed into ice cream. The addition of the Reddi-wip and caramel sauce is a great idea. [client]
