Make your Christmas More Christ Centered With “Our Family Christmas” {Book Review + Giveaway}

November 5, 2017 by The Things I Love Most

If you know me you know how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas! I love everthing about it!  I love creating meaningful Christ-Centered traditions for my family! Every year I like to add new and meaningful things to our traditions.  I am so excited to implement this book, Our Family Christmas.  It has beautiful stories, wonderful recipes, and fun traditions that you can add to your days leading up to Christmas.

Make your Christmas More Christ Centered With "Our Family Christmas" {Book Review + Giveaway}

This book has a chapter for the 25 days leading up to Christmas. Each chapter contains a story, scripture, recipe, journal prompt and song. It also has suggestions of a 1+ hour countdown activity, a 20 Minute activity and a 5 minute acitivity. I love it because you don’t have to do the hour one. If all you have time for is a 5 minute activity, then just do that one!

Our Family Christmas Book Description-

Draw closer to the Savior as you set aside a few minutes each day to celebrate the season with your family using this inspiring, fun-filled countdown to Christmas as your guide. From Christmas songs to holiday stories to activities for old and young alike, this compilation of Christ-centered ideas is designed with one goal in mind: to bring families closer together and closer to Christ this holiday season. Whether you’re taking a quick moment to connect or are engaging in a longer opportunity to create memories, the stories, recipes, activities, and music on these pages are just the beginning of faith-affirming togetherness for families of all ages and stages during the Christmas season.

In the book shes says, “There is no guilt here. If all you can do is pull four activities from this book for some meaningful family nights, that is enough! You do what you can do, and don’t pressure yourself above what you can handle.”
