I think I just found my new favorite quote book! I always love to keep my mind filled with good quotes, but I am not good at memorizing them. One of my goals this year is to memorize, or at least “ponderize” good quotes so that, when I am having one of my grumpy days or I just need a spiritual boost, I can remember them! Last week I received this book from Deseret Book called On The Path Home by Henry B. Eyring and I think it is the perfect book to help me with this goal!
I immediately put it up on my piano because I love the picture on the front. Last week when I opened it I fell completely in love with all the quotes and pictures on each page. I am going to pick a quote each week and keep it open to that page so that I can be reminded of it throughout the week!
I also am going to share the quote of the week with my children. This was the first quote I read to them. We had a great little devotional talking about what it meant.
Each page is filled with these beauties! Simple yet profound quotes. On the Path Home would make a great gift to a family member, neighbor or friend. It is filled with beauty in the pictures and most importantly in the words that the pages are filled with. I read through about half the book in one sitting and handed it to my husband and encouraged him to read a few quotes from it each day!
