COME UNTO ME: MOVIE REVIEW

March 25, 2016 by The Things I Love Most

Hey everyone! With Easter coming up this weekend a movie is a perfect gift to put in an Easter basket!   I’m excited to tell you about this beautiful 30 minute film called Come Unto Me. A beautiful historical fiction story about two children getting to meet Christ, and him teaching them about repentance, faith, and baptism.  Mary, Christ’s mother, is also in the story and I love the love that is portrayed between she and her son, the happiness she sees in her eyes as he teaches the children.  It is a perfect movie to watch for family home evening or Sunday afternoon!  My kids were very touched during the film and after there was a beautiful spirit in the room!Come Unto Me Movie Review

Young Samuel and little Mary are intrigued by the man called John the Baptist, but they can’t take the chance of staying in one place long enough to listen to his message. On the run from Roman soldiers, the brother and sister must do whatever it takes to survive. But when they meet a kind woman at a well, she introduces them to her son, Jesus—and their meeting forever changes the children’s lives.
