Toy Review – WRECKY THE WRECKING BUDDY™ – Walmart #Chosenbykids

November 11, 2014 by The Things I Love Most

This last Saturday I loaded up all the kids to go to Walmart! Thankfully not for grocery shopping!  We headed over to the Holiday Toyland event at Walmart and had a great time! I let the kids look at toys for an hour! We only get our kids a few gifts for Christmas so I like to walk around with them and see when their faces light up what they are excited about getting, and consider it for their nice gift from mom and dad!

They had two nice ladies there at a booth with brochures talking about Walmarts Lay-away program showing some top holiday toys such as Dancing Olaf, Lego Jr Batman, and my boys favorite WRECKY THE WRECKING BUDDY!  The kids had fun looking at the toys they had on display to play with. They also gave them a Lego coloring book which my kids look at everyday now! They are a little obsessed with Legos and Cars!

My little guy was totally scared and did not like Wrecky.  He kept hitting him away and saying “NO”.  He is a bit scary if you haven’t ever seen truck move and talk to you!  I think he will get used to him!

We decided to take WRECKY home with us! The kids thought he was SO fun!

This truck is pretty cool with interactive lights, sounds and moving parts that bring this fun truck to life. WRECKY THE WRECKING BUDDY™ is the perfect combination of construction truck and hard-working companion. The kids loved that he drove around all by himself. The table he was on at the store kept falling over because he kinda goes crazy! He can even knock stuff over!

This cute truck has five different play modes-carrying cargo, dumping, breaking barriers, clearing the area and a celebration dance.

He has a pretty funny personality also and says some silly things! I will warn you that Wrecky does have “bad gas” when the truck makes a toot sound. My kids thought is was pretty funny. Boys…they would huh? 🙂

Sverve provided us with a toy of our choice and compensation for this review. The opinions and tips I shared about holiday shopping and this seasons hot toys are my own, and Sverve did not tell me what to say!

This toy sounds like every boy’s best friend! 😉 I went to an event this past weekend and the kids had a blast too. They loved building Lego sets and MLPs. I love that Walmart has these.

My youngest son (5) has wrecky. One pleasant thing I found out about his toy was the creativity it sparked in my son. He took out his building blocks and was building things for wrecky to knock down. He would test and try to make stronger and bigger things.
