A Year with Six Sisters’ Stuff Cookbook Review & Giveaway

April 3, 2014 by The Things I Love Most

I was super excited to be asked a few weeks ago if I wanted a sneak peek of this wonderful new cook from the Six Sisters to review on the blog!  Of course I said yes.  I LOVE a good cook book!  I fell in love with their last one when I looked through it and everything had a picture!  I totally need pictures to show me that something is going to taste good!  I struggle with menu’s with only words…I need pictures! LOL  Besides that, these dishes are family friend, and use ingredients that I usually have in my kitchen!
The book is dived not by categories, but my meal plans.  There are 52 meals which consist of a main dish, side dish and desert!  My daughter and I have thumbed through it are excited to get cooking.  We thought it would be fun to use these meal plans for Sunday dinners for the next few months!

We are debating starting this Sunday with…
Creamy Chicken Lasagna!
or Asian Glazed Salmon
Both are great choices! I’m leaning more towards the Salmon though!
My daughter is insistent that we have these yummy things for Dessert…
I am all for something that says Gooey and Lemon in the same sentence!

Another fun thing about the book is they share some fun pages in-between with great ideas and traditions.  I really like this idea of a “Crazy Dinner!”
A Year With Six Sisters Stuff” can be purchased from Deseret Book here.  Or Amazon, here.
