We have a dog now, so we might as well get chickens right? My awesome cousin is coming down this weekend to help my husband build a coop. We are so excited to get fresh eggs! YUMMY!
We have been looking around online at different coops. The site backyardchickens.com has some really great coops. You can look at small, medium or large coops. I think we are going for a small-medium coop. We will probably get between 4-6 chicks for the kids for Easter! They know they are getting them and are really excited!!

Those are some seriously stylin’ coops! One you didn’t post, which I love, is the kind with a raised garden bed on top… I grew up with chickens and swore I would NEVER have them, now I kind of wish we did. Your kids will love the experience (not to mention yummy eggs!)
