I received a copy of this book to review. All opinions are 100% my own!
I LOVE Seek and Find Books! When I saw this adorable Book of Mormon Stories Seek and Find book being published by Cedar Fort Publishing I was so excited to review it! Some of my children’s favorite books are the seek and find books that we own. They will honestly sit and look at them for an hour trying to find all the fun thing things, but not only that, after they find them they look at the picture longer to find other fun things on each page. This Seek and Find: Book of Mormon Stories is a new book written and illustrated by Jason Pruett. I love the concept of this book. It’s a little different than your regular seek and find book. It doesn’t show the picture you should find, instead it goes through each book in the Book of Mormon per page. In the top right corner it has a description of each book and what the book is about. So in Alma it talks about what the gist of the whole book of Alma is about. Then it tells you to find things in the picture according to scriptures in that book with a reference to the scripture so you can look it up!
If your child can read it will make this book a lot easier to do, but even my kids that don’t read yet loved it! The book kept my kids entertained as they looked for their favorite scripture heroes and hidden objects in the colorful illustrations. It’s perfect for home, church, or on the go! It makes learning the scriptures fun for everyone. It was actually a great review of some of the important scriptures in each book for me as I sat and read through it last night! If I thought is was fun, your chidden for sure will!
