Hey everyone! I thought I would give you a little update on my own training for my Half in November. I’m trying! And right now that’s the best I can do. I only find time to get outside and run 2-3 times a week! I am loving my C25K trainer App. It is kickin my booty and I feel awesome after I run! Anyway on to my reason for this post.
I love running for a cause. I think it is money well spent and I always appreciate that my money is going to something great that will benefit people in need!

Next month is the Karen Johnson Memorial 5K/10K. Karen was killed in 2010 while cycling over her lunch break by a distracted teenage driver. Karen’s coworkers at Cirris are putting on this race and donating the proceeds to two charity organizations that Karen supported-Meals on Wheels and the Assistance League of Salt Lake.

The race is March 29th in West Valley City. The race will be held at Redwood Park 3060 Lester St. West Valley City.
