For some reason, in my brain (and I am not sure why) you have to have a big vacation planned to have a fun summer. When I realized that because of finances we wouldn’t be doing that this summer I felt kind of bummed out. But I decided to make the best of it with my kids and plan some fun things! Sure we have had some lazy days, but they have had fun doing Track class, getting together with friends and just hanging out at home! We are doing a little bit of school each day, but for the most part we are just enjoying the summer and having fun. We have enjoyed the pool, and tonight with my youth group I went to the river where I am for sure going to take my kids! It was so much fun!
Here is what our summer is looking like so far….
*They have started to build a tree house with dad. Yes it is a work in progress, but they are having fun.
*Took a short trip! We just got back from a short trip, 250 miles away to visit family and use our Pass of all Passes at Trafalga.
We had a lot of fun in just 2 days! I got my bucket full with family. I really missed them and was so glad that we could go for a couple of days.
Little Baby E got to meet all of the cousins. Aren’t they adorable!?! There was one more born the night the picture was taken and one missing and one more on the way this year! 8 in one year for my grandma!! My little guy is the one in the white shirt and blue/green overs! He is getting so big way to fast!

It looks like you are enjoying some great summer moments. We weren’t always able to take you family on a vacation so we just did things locally.
I love the pictures of the cousins. We had 5 grandchildren born with in 2-3 months and then two years later we had 5 more within 2-3 months. Now they are 12 and 14 years old and they love getting together. I am sure the grandparents are loving it.
Blessings!
