Why Magformers Are a Must Have Toy

April 5, 2016 by The Things I Love Most

As most of you know I homeschool my kids!  It’s been a wonderful year this year!  Things have gotten better and easier as years go by! I will say, the hardest thing about it is helping my toddlers enjoy their day and not feeling like they are just wondering around while I focus on the older kids.  A couple years ago I wrote this post about Homeschooling with Toddlers and Babies Around, check it out if you want to. I am all about my toddlers feeling involved in my school day, but there are also great times in the day when they can sit and play with a toy and get some great hands-on learning in!  I am very big on hands-on learning fun! We recently received some Magformers to review, and can I just tell you, these things are awesome! We had them out for a straight week and the kids just kept making fun and creative new things! Why Magformers Are a Must Have ToyI’ve always been a bit hesitant to buy Magformers because they are a bit pricey, and I never thought with the smaller boxes you could do much with. But I was wrong, totally wrong. Even though all my kids play with them, my 3 and 4 year old have created some pretty awesome things using the Magformers! Magformers are plastic shapes with magnets in them so that you can combine them to make geometric figures! The magnets are very strong and hold together wonderfully. Why Magformers Are a Must Have ToyMy older kids have had a lot of fun making little creative things here and there beyond just the simple geometric patterns. I would totally recommend these. I’ve heard rumors that if you can find them for a dollar or under apiece then you are getting a really good deal. I have seen them on Zulily and Amazon, but right now on the magformer.com website if you subscribe to their newsletter you can get 20% off.

Magformers® Mission Statement is…

neon26These toys are truly that, high quality, reliable, and very fun.  My kids even with this 26 piece set have created some pretty fun creations and continue to play with it daily!
