Delicious No Bake Cookies

January 25, 2016 by The Things I Love Most

I’m back!  I know I have been gone forever from the blogging world.  {OK, not really, but I did take a break} I have been doing a lot of thinking and reevaluating about my blog and have felt inspired to continue down this blogging road!  I love blogging and sharing with others, but I will share more on that tomorrow!   Today I am excited to share with you one of my favorite No Bake Cookie recipes.  They are very fast and easy and they also have a Sugar free option!!  We are trying to only do one sugary treat a week and one sugar free treat a week in our family. Last night when I so badly wanted to make a treat for Sunday dessert these came to mind and all the kids loved them!
Delicious Quick and Easy No Bake CookiesNo Bake cookies are always my go to quick recipe.  Everyone of us likes them, even my chocolate hating son.  I love that I can also make them with honey or agave and my kids still like them and don’t even complain.  Win Win for me!!

No Bake Cookies

2 C sugar {if sugar free use 1 1/4 – 1 1/2 C Agave or Honey}
1/2 C butter
3 T Cocoa (Heaping)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 C Peanut butter {Natural}
1 tsp vanilla
3 C oats

In a saucepan melt together sugar, cocoa, butter and milk.  Once mixed add peanut butter.  Bring to a boil and let boil for 3 minutes stirring constantly.  Take off stove, add vanilla and oats.  Mix and drop teaspoon full on wax paper. Delicious Quick and Easy No Bake Cookies

*With Agave and Honey they were more sticky and don’t set up as fast as the sugar ones, so I put those in the freezer.  They actually taste good really cold.  Eventually {about 20 mins in freezer) they do set up, but just not as fast as the sugar one.
