Is a Diaper Genie Worth It?

I’ve had 5 kids and my baby just turned two, and guess what…I haven’t ever bought a Diaper Genie®, until this last week! I always thought to myself, “Is a Diaper Genie Worth It?” I honestly thought they were too expensive and that I could walk out to the big garbage can outside to throw away a diaper. And I did that for a long time, and it was annoying. and sometimes I didn’t want to go all the way outside so I just set them by the outside garage door.  Then I had more kids and I got busy and who has time after a diaper change to take the diaper out to the side of the house, so I just tossed it in the bathroom garbage until I couldn’t handle the smell and then took it out, or I beg my older kids to take it out.  Don’t tell me you haven’t done that!   Now I ask myself, Why didn’t I listen to those ladies that told me the Diaper Genies were totally worth the money!  #1 They are not expensive, and #2 they are totally worth having, especially when you have two year olds with really stinky diapers.

I got the Essential pail, and it is awesome.
