Book Review: The Tuttle Twins and the Miraculous Pencil by Connor Boyack; illustrated by Elijah Stanfield

January 14, 2015 by The Things I Love Most

Today I am excited to be taking part in reviewing this great children’s book by Connor Boyak. This is his second book in the series about the Tuttle Twins. The first book being called The Tuttle Twins Learn About the Law.  I’m excited to be reviewing his new book titled The Tuttle Twins and the Miraculous Pencil!

My Review- The story is about twins Ethan and Emily who are learning about economy in school. They go on a field trip with their class to a factory to better understand this!   This book is set up to help children, and adults understand liberty and a free market economy.  At the beginning of the book the tour guide says that “nobody on earth know how to make something as little as a pencil”.  At first I thought it was crazy, but as they went through how each part of the pencil is made, and that the people, for example the lumberjacks or the rubber workers, don’t know what their efforts are creating.  The kids learn that so much goes into making just a simple pencil!
Tuttle Twins
This is a great book for children to help them understand economy better.  It puts it into terms that children understand. My kid really enjoyed the book from the pictures to the story line!

Don’t forget to enter the giveaway HERE for $100 Amazon Gift Card or Paypal Cash and read the other review on the book!

I received this book free for my review. All opinions are 100% my own.
