Sick Kids & A Snuggly Baby

February 20, 2013 by The Things I Love Most

I woke up this morning early to check on the cries of my 1 year old who woke up with a fever, and to check on the 4 year old that went to bed with a fever.  Poor kids, I hate when they are sick.  I went back and laid in bed with every intention to blog….but fell right back asleep. When my baby actually did wake up, he laid on my shoulder for over an hour. I didn’t move, I sat there holding him while he moaned and slept.  He is not a snuggly baby so this was a treat for me.  Enjoy your day, enjoy being with your kids.  Life is going by way to fast!  We will see you tomorrow with a yummy recipe!!

One of my favorite things about having children is when they snuggle with you. I am happy I still get to do that once in a while with Grandchildren or with my great grandchildre.
Blessings to you all and I hope the children get well quick and you don’t get sick.

Aw. I hope they’re feeling better soon. In the mean time enjoy that snuggling.. That time goes by so fast.. (Sigh)

You would know if your baby doesn’t feel good if he cries harder than usual. Anyhow, being sick is part of everyone’s lives. What’s important is that you give him care and attention during these times. It’s the simplest way to ease the pain he’s feeling. Likewise, don’t hesitate to call or visit a pediatrician when you feel that they need more intervention.

Whenever we are sick, we have to pamper ourselves a little and get some rest. At the same time, consult your trusted doctor. We might think it’s just a cold, but their check ups and assessments will assure us that we’re in good health. 🙂
