Meet our new little girl….

February 18, 2013 by The Things I Love Most

Like I told most of you on facebook my husband surprised us on Valentines day by telling us he bought a dog (yes he did tell me before he did it, but I was pretty leery of it with the new baby coming)  He brought her home Saturday after we got everything we would need to have a dog, and we all fell instantly in love with her.  She is so stinkin cute.  My daughter LOVES her and was excited about having a “sister”!  When my husband said the dog was a Female Red Heeler, she almost made me cry when she exclaimed….”yeah, I am going to finally get a sister”!  I knew I couldn’t back down after hearing that!
Here they are waiting for daddy to bring her home after work.  The kids were outside for 2 hours getting things ready and playing until she came.
She warmed right up to us and is so sweet.  She loves Little Mister and is always following him around.  She loves LaLa and besides being with my husband and I she is very obedient with her.
All in all these first couple of days with her have been great.  She is mostly an outside dog, but sleeps in the laundry room.  The kids are outside more loving being with her.   She has only chewed up one shoe (Poor Jack Jack’s), and is training really well with potty training and staying with us. Now to get ready for this baby boy to come in the next 4 weeks!!
