How are you all doing? I feel like it has been forever since I just wrote. Wrote about life, wrote about what I am thinking, and what is going on with us. So today, I thought I would do just that. First off I wanted to share with you my kids cute Easter pictures we took by our front door….which I painted gray and love!
Yup, they are amazing at all looking at the camera! I know, perfect children right there! I feel sorry for those poor families that have kids that wiggle and look anywhere but the camera when taking pictures! š We are getting family pictures done next week, they better all look at the camera at least once so I have one to hang up, if not I am going to print these ones!
I am certain one day it won’t be this way, they will look at the camera. I am also certain that that is when my kids will be older and I will miss the looks off to the side from the 5 year old and the hands in the month from the 2 year old.
Anyway, moving on. Life at our house is going pretty well! School has been wonderful this year, but I think we are about ready for a little break from regular school days. We will still do about an hour of homeschooling each day over June and July, and then take August off to just read books, travel and relax. I have a list of a million things I want to accomplish over the summer and am bound and determined to get them done!
So what’s been going on in our family you ask? You would ask that if we were sitting next to each other on a park bench chatting! š
#1 -My baby girl is not a baby anymore. She is going to be taller than me soon. But, oh how I love who this girl is becoming, but I miss her tiny little self.
#2 This little guy is also growing up way to fast. Although he is still not walking at 13 months. He is in that stage of wanting mommy to hold him all the time, so nap times are very needed around here!
He is my mischief maker. He gets into EVERYTHING! His favorite place is the Lazy Susan cupboard where he tries to eat honey and yesterday he got a hold of the almond extract….I’m not sure if he got any, but he was trying.
#3 -Backyard camp-outs have started. The kids talked daddy into it last weekend. Campfire, smores and all. They were happy campers! This tiny tent isn’t going to last much longer for these 4 kids (soon 5).
#5 – I am going to two conferences in the next two weekends. Women’s Conference and The Family School Conference. I am so excited to be uplifted and rejuvenated . Not sure how excited my husband is that I will be gone two weekends in a row, but I will come back a better person!
#6- Speaking of my awesome husband, last but not least, my husband is now a certified EMT. He works as a volunteer fire fighter, and now, EMT for our little town and loves it. He has a good job right now, but if he ever finds the opportunity to get a job as a firefighter/EMT he would be a happy camper.

It’s fun to see all the pictures of the baby each month next to each other. I should do something like that for my baby. You can really see how they’ve grown.

Oh how fun to see these cute pictures of your dear family. You are amazing. Congratulations to your husband for getting his EMT. I know the course is hard. Enjoy the moments of the upcoming weekends. It sounds like a great mother adventure. Blessings and hugs!
