Its only day 8 into the new year and I am already well on my way to reading at least two books this month! I am halfway through my second book this month and it’s only the 8th! I just finish this great book, or actually 3 small books in one, called Three Little Words. This book that I just finished is a compilation of three sweet romance stories that are good, clean, and a fun quick read!
The three stories in this book are written by by three different authors.
The first story is Rescuing Bailey by Jennie Hansen.
For as long as she can remember, Bailey has loved the boy next door. But despite her feelings, his schedule and his little brother keep getting in the way. Will her childhood crush finally blossom into something real, or will she discover that true love is waiting just around the corner?
The second story is Three Little Words by K.C. Grant
The bet is simple: Elizabeth, a speech therapist, has three days to teach a country bumpkin with a drawl as thick as molasses how to speak like a gentleman. But as she gets to know her charming student, it soon becomes clear that there may be more to him than meets the ear.
And the third story ia A Crying Shame by Aubrey Mace
Cassidy is in love with the idea of love, though after her most recent breakup, the possibility of finding Mr. Right seems hopeless. But when she meets a handsome classmate in her painting class, she may end up learning more about chemistry than about art.
I loved all three of these stories, or Novellas as they call them. My favorite one was probably Rescuing Bailey, but the other two were a very close second!
They’re all very well written stories that keep you wanting to read, especially because they aren’t very long! I read one a day, so it only took me 3 days! They were all about 80 pages in each and I hardly ever find time to read so that is saying something. This year I am excited to expand my reading to not just fiction books. I love fiction and seem only find a time for fiction because it drives me in and makes me want to read even if it is late at night, but this year I have a goal to read other books, I am going to be reading some self help book, some great homeschooling books and some other great LDS and Christian fiction and non fiction books :-).
