With hundreds of titles featuring award-winning authors and illustrators, and beloved characters, you can find books at every stage to engage and excite your child.
I have really enjoyed participating in the I Can Read! Readathon with my kids. My son and I went to the library the other day and he was so excited when he saw and I Can Read! book and ran over to show me it! It is so important to read to your kids every day! It’s never to early to start. I read books with my 1 year old and he loves them…and also tries to eat them! 🙂 It’s important for our kids to also see us read on a regular basis so they can see our example and get excited about reading!
If your child struggles wanting to read, or you yourself are struggling reading with your child,it’s ok, we all go through it! Check out these great tips they have on their site to help!
- Timeless Characters
Classic characters such as Amelia Bedelia, Danny and the Dinosaur, Frog and Toad, Little Bear and new favorite picture book characters like Pete the Cat, Fancy Nancy, and Pinkalicious are beloved by parents and children, making the story experience enjoyable for readers of all ages. - Great Stories
I Can Read! stories are based on real-life experiences such as the first day of school, good sportsmanship, and traveling to new places, which makes these books personal and relatable to children - Easy-to-Follow Levels
I Can Read! books have color-coded levels that make choosing and advancing a smooth process. Each I Can Read! book is also assigned a Fountas & Pinnell Guided Reading Level. These educational tools provide guidance and resources for educators and parents.
