Did you know today is National Dino Day? Yup, it’s a thing and we are totally going to celebrate!! What kid doesn’t love Dinosaurs!
My kids were so excited to get these new Jurrasic Park themed LEGOs! LEGO BrickHeadz Owen & Blue are perfect for June 22nd when the new Jurassic World comes out! (Even though my boys probably won’t see the movie until they are older, they already love it because it has Dinosaurs!!)
Here is some more info about these fun sets…
LEGO BrickHeadz Owen & Blue –
These LEGO® BrickHeadz™ 41614 Owen & Blue construction characters are fun to build using colorful LEGO bricks that recreate all their iconic details from the blockbuster Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom movie, including a dino trainer, Owen’s tranquilizer gun and velociraptor Blue’s ferocious white teeth.
What to do in St. George on National Dino Day
Now enough about those LEGO sets! Here is what else we are doing for National Dino Day! Here in Utah there are so many awesome places to learn more about Dinosaurs. Here in St. George we have the Dinosaur Track Museum which we have gone to a couple of times, and the kids love it.
There is also Warner Valley that is filled with Dinosaur tracks. And it is free! There is also the Dino Cliffs tracks that I just heard about that we are going to go find today!!
When we get home from our hike we are also going to read this fun book and learn about a few Dinosaurs we haven’t ever heard of before. It should be a fun day!!
A couple other fun places to visit in St. George for National Dino Day would be Thunder Junction Park or the St. George Children’s museum that has a really fun Dinosaur room.
You could also make a fun Dino cake!! It’s my sons birthday this week and a few years ago I made him this cake!!
