Pei Wei’s, Have You Been to this Place?

February 21, 2014 by The Things I Love Most

This post brought to you by Pei Wei Asian Diner. All opinions are 100% mine.

Since moving from the Utah County area one of the things I miss most, besides my family, are good restaurants.  While we have a couple close by, nothing compares to a bigger city and all the options of restaurants that come with living there.  One of therestaurants I miss the most is Pei Wei.  I have always loved their menu options.  In fact, my husband hated going there with me because I would stare at the menu so long trying to decide between all the amazing choices.  My favorite is the Pad Thai and Lettuce Wraps. Yummy, makes me want to get in my car and drive the 4 hours it takes to get there!

New this year,  Pei Wei Asian Diner has resolved to reFRESH nationwide with a new year full of new options!  They are doing this by adding a small size entrée option starting at just $6.39.  They are adding a new dish, that sounds divine, called, Thai Lime & Chile. Just look at it…

And that’s the small size options!
This new dish features refreshing citrus flavors combined with spicy Fresno chilies for unique flavor adventure. Guest’s choice of protein is wok-tossed in a Thai lime pineapple chile sauce, along with garlic, red onion, snap peas, Fresno chile peppers, topped with cashews, bean sprouts, carrots, cucumbers and cilantro.   Oh how I wish I cooked like that at home!
Go here to the Explore the Pei Wei Asian Diner menu . They also have added a couple other menu options.  The Wok Roasted Vegetable Salad,  The Ginger Orange Edamame, and the Szechuan Green Beans
One of the things I LOVE about Pei Wei’s is that they offers a menu of fresh, high-quality Asian cuisine that is freshly prepared, and wok’d to order.  Because all items are made-to-order, guests can customize each dish to their liking. While I am not vegetarian (my mom is) and I don’t have gluten problems, I know a lot of people that do, and Pei Wei offers a variety of gluten-free and vegetarian options.  I like a good sit down restaurant every so often, but sometimes I hate the wait.  Pei Wei provides a lively, casual dine-in experience as well as the flexibility, speed and convenience of take-away service to provide guests with tasty options for a quick, light lunch or relaxing dinner.  I also like that it is very kid friendly environment!
So if you live close to a Pei Wei, or are driving by one….slam on your breaks and turn into the parking lot.  You will not be disappointed.  And let me know how much you liked it and what your favorite menu item was!
