I have a hankerin (yup, I just said that) to go on another family vacation, or at least a little getaway! I have been looking at all sorts of options and every week when I get my emails from Groupon I see some really good deals on places to travel. I have seen some amazing deals for places far away that I dream of going to some day, and I also have seen some great deals just close by. The closest place they have to us is Las Vegas, which really isn’t my favorite place in the world, but there is some fun to be had there, even if you don’t love certain parts of Vegas. 
While we stay away from the bars, gambling and crazy night life in Vegas, there are also some really fun places to go as a family. Get a hotel outside of the main part of the city, visit the museums, parks and even the great outdoor places that are close. Last year we took a trip to Vegas and stayed in a nice hotel in the outskirts of Las Vegas and went to a Natural History Museum and then to Wet n’ Wild. It was a fun day and the kids had a blast.
