Parmesan Onion Dip

June 24, 2015 by The Things I Love Most

I love a good dip to take to parties…or just make for dinner.  Like just eat dip and crackers for dinner! Sounds like a good idea to me!! Ok, I don’t ever do that, but there are days that I want to.  My favorite dip to buy is that new Jalapeño Greek Yogurt Dip at Costco, but if I have time to make this parmesan onion dip, I like it even better!  It’s actually really fast to made, and you can make it in the microwave or oven.Parmesan Onion Dip

My Sister In Law introduced me to this delightful dip and I am here to tell you it is A.MAZ.ING!!! I like to serve it with Ritz or Wheat Thins, but it taste great as a veggie dip also. It’s easy to make, delicious to eat and super healthy!  🙂 JK, that I can’t promise you is a correct statement.

Parmesan Onion Dip

The recipe is the best kind of recipe because it only calls for 4 ingredients and so quick and easy to make!  All you need is 3- 8 oz packages of Cream Cheese mixed with 1 cup of Mayonnaise, 1- 8oz package of Fresh Parmesan Cheese and 1 package of PicSweet  frozen chopped white onions {or 1 1/2 cup fresh onion). Mix it all together and bake.  I have done it in the microwave and the oven.  I have this amazing Deep Covered Baker from Pampered Chef that I got for hosting a party once and I LOVE using it.  It took about 20 minutes in the Microwave and an hour in the oven.  Just make sure it’s browned on the top and bubbling with cheesy yumminess and it’s done. Another thing I love about Parmesan Onion Dip is that it is really yummy the next day.  Just store it in your fridge and heat it up in the microwave the next day.
