5 Reasons You Need a HYDAWAY Collapsible Water Bottle

I think people that invent stuff are amazing.  I am truly inspired by people who think of an idea and the run with it!  I recently heard of the HYDAWAY Collapsible Water Bottle a few months ago and have wanted to try it.  Niki contacted me telling me they were running a kickstarter campaign to launch their genius water bottle!, which you already know I think is awesome.  I love the idea of KickStarter and how it can help new companies get off the ground.

The HYDAWAY Collapsible Water Bottle is just that. A water bottle that collapses when you are done drinking out of it.  It is perfect for traveling, outdoor family activities, sporting events, and little hands.  This last month I took my kids on a field trip.  It was hot and they each needed a water bottle.  When they are done with it, guess who got to carry around their empty water bottles? ME. 🙁  It was super annoying.  I was sitting there wishing that I already had my HYDAWAY Water Bottles so that the kids could just put them in their pocket when they were done.

They have two sizes that they developed. the 12 oz. and the 21 oz.  They also have lots of fun colors, my favorite being the Chili and Orange!

These water bottles only weigh 1/3 of a pound each, they can be filled and frozen (recommend to have the lid off when freezing)

This last week my husband was at a leadership training camp and took the HYDAWAY Collapsible Water Bottle!   He could only take a backpack for his things, so it was super easy to throw in at the end.  He loved having the bottle to just throw into his pocket when he was done drinking and then fill it up again when he needed it.  

Here is my handsome scruffy husband sporting his HYDAYWAY selfie that he sent me from scout camp!  He’s such a trooper.  I told him if he was going to take it he had to take some picture of him using it! He said he really liked the bottle, and will take it on every camp trip.  We are going on a Pioneer Youth trek this summer and I am excited to take those with us. They will be perfect since all we can take is a 5 Gallon bucket for all of our things.
