Cherish that Role that is So Uniquely Yours

October 7, 2013 by The Things I Love Most

Look who is sitting up already (at least for 10 seconds before he falls on his face)!  Can you even believe how fast that time has flown by?
He is six months old but he is still such a little guy. He doesn’t sleep through the night yet, but I really don’t mind.  It’s strange that after having 5 kids I have just gotten used to the fact that I don’t get very much sleep, my body doesn’t seem to mind either.  He still likes to be swaddled, and rocked to sleep.  Which is still one of the best parts of my day!  His favorite word and only word he says is “Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom” !  What can I say….he loves me!! I read this quote the other day from one of my favorite talks.  I love the part where he talks about how hard and exhausting it is to be a mother, then he goes on to say that we need to cherish our role as mothers and that their are angels sent from heaven to watch over us and our little one.  I feel that every day of my life.  I couldn’t do it without a wonderful husband, family and friends and any other angels God sends to help me each and every day.
