My First Job, and My Favorite Fast Food Resteraunt

August 12, 2013 by The Things I Love Most

This post brought to you by Arby’s. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have I ever told you about my first job that I had after I turned 16?  I don’t think I have.  Obviously by the title you can probably tell what it was!  I remember being SO excited to get my first job, but so nervous about looking and finding the perfect job!  My Jr. year of high school my parents encouraged me to go get a job to start saving money for college and stuff that I wanted to buy for myself.  I had a friend that worked at Arby’s and he said they were hiring so I went in and had my first interview and got hired!  I was so excited!  I had a job, and got to eat yummy food!  What could be better than that!

I loved that job, and I LOVE their food.  I probably gained 10 lbs in high school from eating curly fries and their yummy shakes! Oh man those are good!  My favorite sandwich at Arby’s was their Chicken, Bacon and Swiss sandhich.  I was always secretly happy when orders would get messed up and we could eat that sandwich!

Since leaving Arby’s in 2000 they have so many more sandwiches and a lot of them are healthier options.  Have you heard about their new turkey sandwich called The Grand Turkey Club.  I guess Arby’s is on a quest to make the perfect turkey sandwich!  The Club is made with fresh sliced hot roasted turkey, melted swiss, pepper bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a Harvest Wheat bun!  And to make things even yummier, they are letting you add ham for a limited time, and calling it the Grand Turkey Ham Club!  That sounds so good. Doesn’t it look good…

I have got to go Find an Arby’s and get me that sandwich!

What was your first job?

I love Arbys too. What a fun post on your first job. It brought back immediate memories of my first job. Maybe I will blog on that sometime.
    Blessings!
