When my daughter was little we invested in the regular Signing Time videos and it was one of the best investments we ever made. They didn’t have Baby Signing Times until my second son was born. By the time our daughter was 18 months she knew over 100 signs, but was also saying the words along with the signs by that time. All of our kids have begun speaking at young ages and we feel that that has a lot to do with the Signing Time videos. Teaching them helpful words such as milk, help, water, sleep , etc. We used it with all of our kids from the age of 6 months on. From that age on our kids were able to communicate with us preventing tantrums and frustration for both of us! 🙂
I am excited to use Baby Signing Time with my 21 month old and my new little guy. I think seeing the younger kids with the younger version will help him relate a little more and be more on his level! I watched it today with my 21 month old and he loved it. He kept signing and saying the word, and he loved the songs. The songs in it are just as fun as the ones on the regular Signing Time videos.
Signing is another language and by learning it it has opened up my children’s world to be able to communicate with deaf people and not feel uncomfortable around them. In fact when my daughter finds out someone is deaf she tries to remember signs to say things to them.
Oh and get excited because these are one of our giveaway items. Giveaway starting at 2:00 on Friday!!
