The Rent Collector

September 20, 2012 by The Things I Love Most

I recently read this book…

Rent_collector_detail

It is an amazing, life changing story.  It brought on so many emotions of gratitude, sadness, happiness and love as I read it.  I don’t even want to tell you about it, you should just got read it!.  But I will tell you a little bit about it!  It is a story about a young mother, her husband and her sick son who live in the dump in Cambodia picking through garbage.  It is a story of hope as this mother tries to save her sick son, and save her family from a life of poverty.   The book is fiction, but is inspired by by real people that live in this city in Cambodia.  You can buy the book here!

This will be a must book for me to read. I just can’t understand that kind of poverty; but we do have it right here. Of course, not quite this bad; but it isn’t good. We find so much sadness and loss of hope as we are working on our Inner City Mission. Thanks you for this review.
    Blessings!
