Remember Moments – These Moments are My Life

March 23, 2015 by The Things I Love Most

Remember the Moments | The Things I Love Most

I love to Remember Moments.

I am a picture taker.
I take a lot of random picture each week of my family.
I love to look back at all the silly random picture of my kids that I take each week
I take a lot.
Not of big events,
just simple moments.
They make me happy.
They help me remember moments.
I can’t get rid of any of them.
None!
They are so cute!
So Happy!
So Funny!
So Sweet

I take WAY too many picture
and I don’t care.

I want to remember all of these moments.
These moments are my life
and I love my life!

I once heard someone say to put down the camera and live in the moment.
What?
That phrase didn’t make sense to me at all.
Why?
Why would I want to miss taking picture of moments like these…

Brother’s finally learning to play together!
Teaching my daughter to cook!
Laughing at this little boy who got into the lotion and put it all over his face.

The day my son finally read his first chapter book!
and lost his front teeth!
Sweet moments like this when my kids are caught doing the cutest things.
Like fighting over who gets to get their brother out of his crib, but end up all in it reading him a story!
Or times when they are being so silly and they can’t stop laughing!
Or that fun day spent with my daughter cutting up jeans to make jean quilts for the boys!
Or the time when they prepared for dad to walk in the door from work with Nerf guns in hand!

Riding on the “daddy horse” on their way to bed
Or snapping a picture that day when they were working on schoolwork together!
Creating huge messes to entertain himself while mom is busy.
And the day the two year old got himself  breakfast!
 The pictures aren’t high quality.
My kids didn’t have to dress up all cute to take them.
They were taken from my phone.
Quickly.
So I didn’t miss it.
I love all of them!
I love the memories they remind me of.
It’s true, I can’t remember exactly what happened each day.
Maybe I don’t have a good memory.
But I’m grateful for picture that remind me of my life!
I love my life.
I love being a mom with all my heart!
So take more pictures.
Random ones.
It will help you remember moments.
Then set the camera down and enjoy it!

What a fun read! I love all the picture of your cute family. I take pictures all the time too and love it. I don’t think we’re missing anything I think we are just creating memories so we can look back on all these fun times when our kids are older.

This was a great post! I always try to take pictures to make sure I remember the fun times (I have a horrible memory). My girls love to look through pictures of when we have visited with family, gone to the zoo, had a picnic, played in the backyard and so on.
